Parking info?

  • Along the Marinella quay in Via Ammiraglio Staiti, it is possible to park the car for a fee, using the municipal stalls recognizable by the blue stripes. Arriving a bit before 09:00 am, it is easy to find still available space for your car.
The cost is 1,00€ per hour, but payment is only possible with coins. Therefore, to cover the entire duration of the excursion, it is advisable to take with you approximately 9,00 € (in coins).
It is also possible to pay for the ticket through some APPs, such as Dropticket or EasyPark.
  • A free Parking area is available in Via Ilio (750 mt from our ticket office). If you decide to leave the car there, please consider the walking time from the parking area to the point of embarkation. Unfortunately, this parking cannot be used on Thursdays due to the weekly market.

Where and how do swimming stops take place?

All the swimming stops are subject to weather and sea conditions and, in general, to the unquestionable judgment of the Skipper (Safety first!! 😉)

The swimming stops are carried out directly from the boat; therefore, mooring in the coves is forbidden, as expressly laid down by the official regulation of the Marine Protected Area of the Egadi Islands.

The distance from the coast varies from 20 mt to 60 mt, the depth of the sea varies between 3 mt and 8 mt.

Guaranteed departure?

Confirmation of the excursion depends on the minimum number of passengers being reached and on weather and sea conditions.

Are the tour times flexible? Could the program undergo changes?

Regarding the departure time, we strongly recommend punctuality and advise you to arrive at the boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

For example, the Marettimo Sea Caves Boat Tour departs at 09:30 am, so you should already be at the port, ready for boarding, by 09:00 am at the latest.

The times listed in the “Itinerary” and “Duration” sections of the trip, however, are approximate and subject to possible variations. The exact time for returning on board during island stops is communicated multiple times by the onboard crew.

It’s crucial to understand that the tour stops, navigation, island landings, and the overall travel itinerary are entirely entrusted to the indisputable judgment of the Skipper. This ensures that every decision takes various factors into account, including current weather and sea conditions, maritime traffic, and, above all, the safety of our passengers.

Flexibility is one of the keys to a safe and memorable maritime experience.

So, yes, it is possible that the itinerary may undergo changes, but these decisions are always made with the goal of ensuring passenger safety and providing an enjoyable travel experience, considering all these elements.

During the journey, the onboard crew will keep you informed of any possible itinerary modifications.

What happens if I am late?

There is no provision for waiting for late guests, in consideration of the schedule and other participants. Think of it as catching a train or a flight – it’s exactly the same.

If, for any reason, you are delayed and miss the departure from Trapani, t will unfortunately be considered a no-show, and we won’t be able to offer any refunds. This is why we recommend planning your journey with some extra time to avoid inconvenient and unpleasant situations.

If the delay occurs during the tour, at the reboarding stage, you will need to arrange your return to Trapani independently and at your own expense. In this case as well, we cannot offer any refund, not even a partial one, for the part of the tour you couldn’t complete. (It happens to at least one passenger per month… Make sure it’s not you!!!).

Remember, punctuality is the key to fully enjoying your journey with us!

When to book?

You can book online up to 2 days in advance. For last-minute bookings, contact us by phone at +39 342 9446189 or by email at

Avoid the queue! By booking online, you will receive an e-ticket by email containing the QR code valid for boarding. Then, to participate in the tour, simply show it from your mobile phone (or print it on paper).

You can cancel your reservation at no cost up to seven days before the excursion. If you cancel your booking after the deadline, you will not be entitled to any refund. Still, you can request a cancellation voucher (equal to the amount already paid) which can be used on a personal basis within two years from the date of issue.

No refunds or cancellation vouchers are due to those who cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure and to those who do not show up within the established time for boarding.

A nice experience on the Marabù:
A wonderful experience aboard the 'Marabù' boat for the excursion to the Marettimo caves. A real day at the beach! Highly qualified staff with the most beautiful smiles in Trapani. I can't wait to revisit you. It was an unforgettable experience! 🙂

Holidays in Marettimo
I already knew Marettimo, I have loved it since 1979, but this time a native friend of Marettimaro showed us around the island with a description and visits to most of the countless caves. From the Camel's cave onwards. White cove bath full of fish in a blue and blue sea (like swimming pool). One thing struck me that I had never noticed: u Sticchiu da Castiddana. I leave room for your imagination ..
